DIY: Make Your Own All Natural Organic Moisturizing Hand Soap

I had several requests to show how I use Dr. Bronner’s Soap. This is a simple recipe I use for a moisturizing hand soap with Dr. B’s liquid castile as the base :)

The is my 2nd time using this simple recipe and I love it! The only other thing that I add is a few drops of tea-tree oil to make it more like an "anti-bacterial" moisturizing hand soap. I  pour it into previously used foaming soap bottles and voila…thanks for sharing!!!

Think Extra virgin olive oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil,  castor, and/or coconut oil will work instead? those are the kinds I have at the moment.

can olive oil be used instead of sunflower

does it still have antibacterial propertiles like normal hand soap?

Oooh, sounds like a lovely mix. I do use foaming bottles as well, it saves on product too, they are especially nice for bodywash and shave soap :) Thanks for subscribing! <3

I make my own also with castille, jojoba, some essential oils, and about 1 tbsp. of raw organic honey (honey is a humectant). My fun secret is using a "foamer" bottle, I love how it comes out so foamy, but sometimes it becomes a bit too thick. I will try your idea of adding water (don't know why I didn't think of it, lol) to thin the mixture a bit. I just recently found your channel and subbed…..loving your tutorials and info, THANKS!

Add 5-15 drops of your favorite essential oil, or use a Dr. Bronners liquid scented soap (they are scented with essential oils) :)

    How do we add scent?
